Robyn introduces this region of spectacular beauty and historic heartbreak through captivating stories, expressive Ladino and Yiddish songs, compelling video, and striking images. Jews expelled from Spain and Portugal found safe haven in the cities of Dubrovnik, Split, and Sarajevo. The later arrival of Ashkenazi Jews created a unique meeting place between the cultures of east and west. Song lyrics are provided so everyone can join the singing.   A stunning vocalist and vivid storyteller, Robyn Helzner radiates a passion for Jewish music and culture. Her concerts and recordings are acclaimed worldwide.
